The Titan of the East.

Helios, The Titan of the East, is of Greek mythology and was imagined as a god crowned with the shining aureole of the sun, who drove the chariot of the sun each day with his solar steeds Pyrois, Aeos, Aethon, and Phlegon.  So when Jose was asked to do this piece, he became extatic.  As a fan of Greek mythology, Jose found the perfect reference for his clients’ tattoo.  Since his client had previous pieces done with night imagery such as the moon with a landscape on his other shoulder,  he felt that something that illustrated the sun was a perfect fit for his new tattoo…kind of like a Ying and Yang representation.  Take a look.

Another piece that was that came to light was one that was done on our good friend Cesar.  It’s part of an ongoing full sleeve that is yet to be finished.  Here’s a sneak peek.
