GOING IN.

Saturday, January 29th, 2011

Here’s an overview of what’s been going on the past couple days. We touched down to London, and its been work ever since. A fresh energy has helped us work through the long sleepless sessions. There’s something about the process, the people, the drive and the overall experience that reminds us why we go to these lengths.  At this point, we’re going all in.

VICTORIA’S ANGEL.

Friday, January 14th, 2011

Sometimes a simple pose from a beautiful woman can drive a man wild, such was the case with this tattoo.  A ravishing woman who graced the pages of Victoria’s Secret was used to capture what Jose’s customer wanted in his tattoo, a beautiful, classy woman who can make any man crumble-with a Chicano style twist.

A couple hours were spent looking for the perfect woman for the tattoo.  When eyes were laid upon the stunning Ana Beatriz Barros, it was as if the clouds parted and she descended from the heavens.  With the perfect pose, hair flow, and striking eyes, She was the perfect choice.

Everyone was amazed by the end result and none more than Jose’s client who was blown away with the final product.  Although this piece was for Jose’s client, as tattoo artists, we all took a piece of it with us.  We absorbed every detail in the face, hands, and lingerie in order to help us with our future work.

HEAVEN SENT

Thursday, January 13th, 2011

Its been a week of religious tattoos, luckily for me they are some of my favorites.  I enjoy the variation of shades that makes up these amazing images.

DANNY-DETAIL

The bad thing is, sometimes the designated area is not the best.  We have to use our knowledge about composition and tattoo placement to get the best results possible.

Our boy Danny who also wears proudly some really nice work from the boys at Inkslgers, I hope that our tattoo complements all his other work.

NO TIME GONE TO WASTE

Thursday, January 13th, 2011

At the shop Lil-B let no time go to waste when his appointment couldn’t show up. He still had the drive to do some great work. So when the day seemed to look like it was going to be a slow one, he came up with the idea to tattoo an apprentice. He chose Danny, who also has the drive to learn and soak anything and everything that he can about tattooing.  Everything switched from being a dark rainy day to a bright idea for the student and the teacher.

They chose a beautiful girl from the great collection of Jesus Helguera to work on. As you can see it was a session that went really well. Lil-B added more work to his portfolio while Danny learned everything he could from another day here at Lowrider Tattoo Studios.
