BERLIN ROUND UP.
Saturday, December 11th, 2010
Here is some moments to enjoy the recap of our trip to Germany. Berlin really redefined what “cold” is to us spoiled Californians. Beyond the freezing elements, lies a truly beautiful city. And of course the LT studios was there to represent. A huge thank you to Travelin’ Mick for the amazing hospitality, and all the support of the people of Berlin and throughout Europe who joined us for the visit!

Keep moving….

ON THE ROAD AGAIN.
Tuesday, December 7th, 2010

Once again our boy Michael “Doodles” Sheerin leaves us to go back to his home country of Ireland. With his new found power in the tattoo game, Doodles is ready for war and ready to take on anyone who is ready to get his brand of the Southern California black and grey style that is sure to turn heads. We wish Mikey the best of luck in these next couple of months when he’s out representing Lowrider and what we do. We’ll see you in 2011.

It’s time to rip the chain from your neck
Let go the past as you purge
Free now from everything weighing you down
Open the floodgates and surge with
New found power
- Damageplan.

THE BIRTH OF CREATIVITY.
Friday, December 3rd, 2010

Another day at the shop and inspiration is growing stronger and stronger. We were looking through our archives of tattoos and we pulled out one that aroused our creativity. We learn everyday from various sources…books, videos, other artists, but when it comes to hair, we all take whatever we can from Jose’s style. This is why this tattoo has sparked something within us to motivate and push ourselves to go beyond our limits as well as surpass any of our previous expectations. The harder we try, the better our work will be.
Take a look.

The award winning piece was done on our very good friend Pedro at the London convention earlier this year and we believe it’s a strong piece because it captures the innocense and beauty of the child while complementing the portrait with a beautiful rose.

Another great piece was done on our good friend Nurit Yeshurun of New York. Nurit is a fan of the black and grey style and has great pieces done by some of the masters including Chuey Quintanar. She is also a huge fan and friend of the enigmatic Pint.

Not only does she have great taste in tattoos, but she also had an incredible music playlist that we all enjoyed. Meshing in with our music taste, we had music thundering throughout the shop from Creedence Clearwater Revival to Notorious BIG as well as some of the classic Howling Wolf to Brand Nubian.

This tattoo had a lot of influential technique. We all crowded alongside Jose’s workstation just to soak up as much knowledge as we could with this stunning piece of work. From the hightlights in the hair and jewelry to the heavenly features in the eyes, this was a tremendous piece to stimulate our minds as tattoo artists.
Nurit is a down to earth girl who we can’t wait to see again…..See you in New York!
