Apologies for delays. We´ve touched down to Barcelona and have been running through the city for the past few days. Thanks to Jose Bandera and the family of Soul Hunter Tattoo studios in Spain, we actually had the chance to view some key sites in the city. Hopefully this will make it up to all you loyal followers. Take a look….

Definetly a big difference from the UK. In London your starving, in Barcelona, there´s too much of everything.

We are staying in the housing projects just on the outskirts of the main city, and everywhere we go Many and Mark pull a crowd with their collections.

The projects here are different. Here they stick together, because their survival depends on it, the different buroughs all have their select communities-and everyone knows everyone.

A few miles off up the mountains is one of the oldest chapels in town where you can view most of the hillsides of the town…..unbelievable.

An aspiring collector and homey Boston Bob is a fool. One wrong step and it´s a wrap.

Inside, sculptures galore.

Back a couple hundred years ago, this chapel was built as holy grounds for the Christians during a time of war. It´s riches still stay tucked away from the main population.

This section was a little freaky-the offerings of people across the world of items that saved lifes, or objects that held precious memories for those sacrificed.

Light up, more to come.

BEST OF THE BEST.
Sunday, September 26th, 2010
They call it the biggest tattoo show on earth, and indeed, in London, we have homies from around the globe with us. It is both a pleasure and honor to work along and be with the best in the industry. Take a look at a few moments here in Wapping London.

The big homey Chuey always holds it down.

As is the homey Steve Soto-his first round in London.

A piece done by our own Gustavo Lopez earlier in the show.

And another by Mikey Doodles.

Back at home base the crowds come in flocks. First, our brother Pedro from Portugal came through to get his portrait piece by Jose~the result earns another Best of Day award.

A big thanks and congratulations to all the brothers from Portugal.

And Jason came through to begin his lower right sleeve-Jun Cha.

And last but not least, the one and only Black n Grey award in London is taken home by our own Mark Osuna, another piece to write in the books!

A big thanks to everyone who flew in from all over Europe, the patient and dedicated clients who’ve sat through the daylight hours, and all the fellow artists who always have our back. It’s because of all of you that makes us work twice as hard and be twice as grateful for the love and support. Up next~ Barcelona, Spain!

MEGAN FOX.
Friday, September 24th, 2010
Attention all you Megan Fox fans. Lowrider Tattoo artist Johnny Opina has had the pleasure of tattooing one of Hollywoods biggest starlets and we couldn’t be any happier for him.
The tattoo reads “Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who could not hear the music.” It is a quote that is being argued everywhere in order to attach it to its rightful owner. Angela Monet, Friedrich Nietzsche, John Milton, Sufi mystic Rumi, the 18th-century Jewish mystic Rabbi Nachman and even the late comedian George Carlin have been linked to the quote.

The tattoo was done back in February of 2010 and was not published until recently. After months of waiting for the photo to surface, she was spotted in hawaii sporting her new ink and the paparazzi had a field day with it.

It was also featured in Georgio Armani’s new underwear commercial titled “The Tip” starring none other than Megan Fox. Here’s a screenshot of the tattoo taken from the video.

Here’s “The Tip” from Georgio Armani, take a look.
Stay Tuned.

In London, when it rains it pours.

Here’s a look at what’s been taken place in the town of Willesden.

And what happens during our spare time? —-Exercise.

In the nearby Monk park, Jose redefines what it means to be in the skatepark.

Gear up, the London International convention next.

The song of the week comes from tattoo artist Miguel Ochoa.
The shop is filled with positivity in the air, everyone is helping each other out while the rest of the crew is out in London doing what Lowrider does best. So what better song than Too Short’s Gettin’ It? Check it out.
“Big ups to the long time homies Luis Moreno and NoNo Hernandez and all the fellas from Dilligence Clothing who I’ve had the pleausre of working on.” – Miguel.
“Think positive, everything else is old” – Too Short.
