Everyone starts off learning from some work of art, you have something that drives you that inspires you to be where you want to be. You are inspired wether you know it or not. Everything you see, you use it in artwork, your visions are transformed into a piece of work. To imitate nothing is to produce nothing and to produce nothing is to be nothing. We have all had our start and to have an inspiritation is what makes you the artist you are. You can imitate a piece of work but in the imitation you find your own style and live up to it.

THE GRASSHOPPER AND THE ANT.

A grasshopper gay
Sang the summer away,
And found herself poor
By the winter’s first roar.
Of meat or of bread,
Not a morsel she had!

To her neighbour the ant,

WHEN THE DREAM ENDS, LIFE BEGINS.

Today, we share a quote with you that has been very inspirational to many of us, it comes from a William Shakespear play that we know everyone can relate to.
“The play’s the thing wherein I’ll catch the conscience of the king”. Hamlet (Act II, Scene II).
As shop help and apprentices, we here at Lowrider get a little frustrated with our tattoos, artwork, as well as other speed bumps that get thrown our way, but we try not to let them get to us because everything we do at the shop is a learning process. We are here day in and day out struggling to make something of ourselves with the help of some of the greatest tattoo artist we have encountered and everyone here at Lowrider have helped us in a way, so our struggles have diminished. Whether it’s from building up our skills in our drawings, our tattooing, advice in life, or even that tough love that no one is very fond of but we all know is very helpful, we are all here giving it our best hoping to one day catch the attention of great artists as well as finally making a name for ourselves as tattoo artists.
Dusty, Janet, Richie, Jake, Rudy, Daniel, and Jose would like to conclude this post with a very special thank you to everyone who have helped us out in the last couple of months and if all things go the way they are supposed to, hopefully we can create more friends and tell more stories while we get the privilege to tattoo whoever walks into our lives.

TATTOOS “R” US.

At the shop doing tattoos is at a daily. Lately, we haven’t been posting as many tattoo images as before, but trust the ink is being laid. We wanted to portray on our site more then just images but words and stories to inspire all. But without further ado here is some eye candy…
The freshest piece out of the shop…
Back on the chair Tony Lopez came in again, but this time sat in for two consecutive days. He had his chest blasted and was still in it for more getting a beautiful mamasita on his right arm.
Work in progress, Scott Hardy a soldier as usual came in to continue his sleeve.
Our homie from Australia came in too with a surprise visit having his neck done up just right…
Nick from Boston even managed to score himself a gorgeous lady..
All the tattoos above are done by Jose Lopez.
