During our London trip before leaving to Milan, we managed to escape for a weekend and hit up Brighton for their 2010 convention. Brighton offered a lot of inspiration with its hip seaside scenery. It was quite a great experience.

ARTIST OF THE WEEK
Thursday, February 18th, 2010
The occult, the surreal, the dark, the mythological, and all the hidden symbolism you don’t know on that dollar bill in your pocket, are just a few elements that make up our artist of the week, Cam Rackam…

A good friend of Lowrider Tattoo, Cam is substantially one of the hardest working fine artists out today, constantly painting and drawing…promoting his own art shows and group shows all around…

If he’s not working on a project for a band, a show, our his own personal pieces, he’s out promoting groups of artists….representing The Congregation Gallery @ Forgotten Saints off Melrose in Hollywood, Cam is a machine of work, constantly trying to find the “perfect” piece, only to create works of art that are the subjects of his life and passions…

Check out more of Cam Rackam’s work and upcoming shows at www.myspace.com/camrackam .
